MAKE UP STORE OCEAN UTOPIA COLLECTION FROM LEFT TO RIGHT :
MICROSHADOW ATLANTIS*, MICROSHADOW ATOLL*, EYEDUST SEAWEED*, LIPGLOSS SUNSET SAFARI*

I recently got gifted the Ocean Utopia line from Make Up Store - the picture for the collection is absolutely gorgeous (mermaid fabulousness) so I was super excited about trying out the products. 

There are two eyeshadows (Microshadows as Make Up Store calls them), Atoll* which is a stunning shimmery light turquoise shade and then there is Atlantis*, a muted purple with duo chrome glitter. Atoll is pigmented and easy to blend but I don't like Atlantis - in the pan it looks beautiful so I was very disappointed to see that it's chunky and not pigmented at all. For me the hero of the collection is the Seaweed* Eyedust (a loose pigment), a light green with a gold undertone, very pretty and very mermaid-y. The packaging is also very clever because it comes with a sponge applicator, so it doesn't fly all over the place and get messy, those clever Swedish folks! Last product I got is the Lip Gloss in Sunset Safari*, a peachy pink with gold glitters (my swatch is NOT doing it justice) that smells like cake frosting and isn't sticky at all, SUPER! It is very pretty on it's on but I think it's a perfect on top of nude lipsticks for a little extra sumthin'. 

All in all I am very pleased with the collection, the beautiful Seaweed pigment really just makes me so happy - I wish I could bathe in it and become a sparkly mermaid (there might be a bit too much caffeine in my body at this point, sorry). Every time I try out Make Up Store products I say that I need to try more products from the brand and I'm saying it again - I really need to try more MUS products! Any recommendations?

//Ég var svo heppin að fá Ocean Utopia línu Make Up Store að gjöf - ljósmyndin fyrir línuna er svo hrikalega falleg (hafmeyju fullkomnun) svo ég var virkilega spennt að prófa vörurnar!

Það eru tveir augnskuggar (eða Microshadows eins og þeir eru kallaðir hjá MUS), Atoll* sem er virkilega fallegur ljós túrkís litur með glimmeri og Atlantis* sem er fjólublár með duo chrome glimmeri. Atoll er litsterkur og blandast vel en ég er ekki sátt með Atlantis - í "pönnunni" lítur hann ótrúlega vel út en hann var alls ekki litsterkur og glimmerið "chunky". Hetjan í línunni er að mínu mati Seaweed* Eyedust-ið (laus augnskuggi), ljósgrænn með gylltum undirtón, ótrúlega fallegur og mjög hafmeyjulegur. Pakkningin er líka mjög sniðug en það er svampur í lokinu svo það sullast ekki allt út um allt, þessir svíar eru svo klárir! Síðasta varan sem ég fékk var varaglossið Sunset Safari*, ferskju bleikur með gylltu glimmeri (swatch-ið mitt er hörmung!) sem lyktar eins og kökukrem og er ekki klístrað, SUPER! Liturinn er mjög fallegur einn og sér en mér finnst hann flottastur yfir nude varaliti til að gera varirnar extra fínar.

Allt í allt er ég mjög ánægð með línuna, fallega Seaweed pigmentið gerir mig bara svo ótrúlega glaða - langar að baða mig uppúr því og breytast í hafmeyju (ég er kannski búin að drekka of mikið koffín núna..). Alltaf þegar ég prófa Make Up Store vörur segji ég að ég þurfi að prófa fleiri og ég segji það aftur núna, ég verð að prófa fleiri vörur frá MUS! Átt þú einhverjar uppáhalds Make Up Store vörur?
