I purchased a few things from Cherry Culture about a month ago and I've been playing around with the NYX lip products I purchased and wanted to share my thoughts with you all.

The Extreme Lip Creams are described by NYX as "a hybrid of lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain with intense pigmentation all in one". They go on like a super pigmented, thick gloss. They are very easy to apply and glide on the lips beautifully. They feel very silky and don't leave the lips feeling dry. They are very glossy to begin with but after wearing them for a while the gloss does go away slightly, but still looking very pretty. They are pretty long wearing and they wear off very nicely and leave a slight stain on the lips.
Over all a really nice product and I want to try out more shades.

Like the name predicts, this is a very soft lip cream with a matte finish. I was only able to pick up one shade, the other ones were all sold out :( I love the way this feels when applying it, it's very silky and soft. It is pretty pigmented and has a very nice finish for those who like the matte look rather then the glossy look. But since the creams have a matte finish, it did feel quite drying after wearing it for some time, but it did stay on for very long! I really like this, even though it feels a little bit drying after a while and I will definitely be picking up more shades when they come back in stock!

Got these from and they are 25% off right now!

Since I just did a 'What's in my makeup bag post' I wanted to show you guys my everyday make up as well. This is what I usually go for. I do of course switch out products, but this is usually what the end result looks like. Fresh faced and pretty.

I start off with a moisturized face and apply my Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush and then I apply concealer underneath my eyes, I use the Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Palette and blend it out with my fingers and the same brush I used for my foundation. Next I set it in place with my MAC MSF Natural in Light, mainly on my t-zone and afterwards I fill my eyebrows in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering. I apply my blush with my Real Techniques blush brush and this week I've been loving MAC Warm Soul and Wet N Wild Heather Silk together. Then I do a little bronzing, contouring and highlighting with my Sleek Contour Kit in Light blending it out with my MAC 109. On my eyes I either just put on my Loreal Telescopic Mascara to my lashes and leave it at that. But today I smudged a little bit of my MAC Eye Kohl in Teddy on my upper lash line with a MAC 239. Lastly I just apply some chapstick on my lips and that's it!

A little quickie.
This was in my make up bag this week.
I think I might do these kind of posts more often, this changes everyday!

Have a great Saturday evening!

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!
After going to the dentist last Monday (and getting the great news that my braces will be coming off real soon!), my boyfriend and I went to the mall to look around and I was pleasantly surprised to find a pair of really nice jeans that fit me well (and the fact that I could squeeze into a size small made me even happier. The gym is finally showing some results!) So here are a few things I've bought the last 2 weeks.

I already told you that I found a nice pair of jeans. They are a high waisted, dark wash denim and the fit me perfectly! They are from the brand 5 units, I've had one pair of jeans from them before and I absolutely love them! Next off I got a crop top from Motel Rocks, it has a high neckline and the back is sheer with criss cross straps. I also purchased a see through burgundy long sleeve shirt, I really like these with a bandeau and a high waisted skirt or disco pants. Last clothing item was a black and white sheer striped shirt. I'm not sure if I like it or not, I feel like I belong at a circus when I wear this..

Next off is this beautiful belt from ASOS, I ordered it a long time ago and it finally arrived. A lot of people have this and I instantly fell in love when I saw this, it gives a simple outfit an edge, but still looking really classy. In the same ASOS order I also bought a simple sideways cross necklace, you might have seen me wear this in a older blog post and I also got the 3 adjustable plain band rings, I love these! They look so chic. Lastly, I picked up this mascara yesterday. I love the normal telescopic mascara so I decided to try this one out, it's called False Lash Telescopic

That's all folks!

I recently saw a blog post on The Beauty Milk on the Wet N Wild lipsticks and I knew I needed to get my hands on a few and try them out myself!
We don't have Wet N Wild in Iceland (we don't have anything here) so I went on eBay searching for these lovelies and I ended up purchasing 5 shades. I wanted to try out something I don't usually go for because they are so cheap so if I end up never wearing them, it wont hurt my wallet!

Think Pink #901B | A beautiful cool toned baby pastel pink. I usually don't like lipsticks this light, but wearing it and seeing it in pictures I actually think it suits me quite well!
Smokin'Hot Pink #905D | A hot pink with warm undertones, it's super pretty!
Sugar Plum Fairy #908C | The much talked about MAC Rebel dupe. I wouldn't know because I don't actually have Rebel, but I have seen swatches online comparing the two and they look pretty much the same. A very pretty plum color.
Cherry Bomb #918D | A dark, almost oxblood red. It's a really lovely color, but I find it makes me look a bit... old.
Vamp It Up #919B | Very very dark purple. On me this looked almost black, I definitely won't be wearing this one a lot, but I'm happy to have something like this in my collection!

The lipsticks are all very nice, creamy and pigmented. They stay on for fairly long and they wear off very nicely (don't go patchy).
The only bad thing about these is the packaging. It's not very sturdy and every time I try to take the lid off, I accidentally scrape some of the lipstick onto the lid! I think I might melt them into a lipstick palette.. Also  some of them don't have the name anywhere. On one lipstick there was only a number and on another one there was no color info at all!
But for 3 bucks I can't complain!

Over all I really like the lipsticks and will definitely be purchasing more shades (and perhaps a lipstick palette)!

Hello lovelies! Long time no blog
(I don't have any excuses, I have simply been extremely lazy and tired)
Last Saturday, one of my best friends celebrated her 20th birthday by inviting the girls over for drinks! I opted for this smokey cranberry look and nude lips (unfortunately I forgot to put on my lipgloss before taking the pictures, but eh what can you do) Hope you like it and try it out!
