THE LAST FEW DAYS IN PICTURES

Just a quick recap of the last few days; did a whole lot of working, visited London for the first time (and LOVED it), went to meetings and parties, drank a lot of beer, shopped, ate good food, went to an art exhibition and other fun stuff. Last week was simply incredible but I do admit, I'm beat. Hopefully this week will be just as good x

REVIEW - ANASTASIA GLOW KITS

I can't think of a better comeback post than a highlighter post, so today I've got two products that have been taking the beauty world by storm - I am talking about the Glow Kits from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
The Glow Kits came out as a surprise, sort of a "happy new year" kinda thing. I was instantly mesmerised by the kits but started off with the That Glow kit, I liked that one so well that later on I also purchased Gleam. In each kit you've got four beautiful highlighting shades which are easily removeable from the palette if you wish to do so, although I find the packing really nice; pretty, sturdy and compact.
That Glow is the warmer palette, it has some really nice golden/bronze undertones that'll work for every skin tone out there. Gleam is a lot cooler with some nice pinky and peachy hues - a bit more unique! They are all soft and smooth, very pigmented and can give a very intense highlight without accentuating pores and such like I found the Illuminators to do. 
Each pan is 0.26 oz which is basically a full sized highlighter, so for 40$ a pop we've got ourselves a very good deal my friends. Since getting these Mary Lou hasn't moved from my vanity drawer (sad but true), these are simply that good.. I do prefer That Glow but the Gleam palette is worth it just for the shade Crushed Pearl (magnificent). So yes, I've come to the conclusion that Anastasia can do no wrong and she's the queen of life.

Glow Kit-in komu út sem óvæntur nýárs glaðningur. Ég var heilluð um leið og keypti mér stax "That Glow", mér líkaði svo vel við það að stuttu seinna var "Gleam" mætt til mín líka. Í kittunum eru fjórir fallegir higlighterar sem er auðveldlega hægt að taka úr pallettunum ef þú villt gera það, mér finnst pakkningarnar samt mjög fínar; fallegar, sterkar og taka ekki mikið pláss.
That Glow er hlýrri pallettan, með klassískum gylltum/bronsuðum tónum sem henta fyrir alla húðliti. Gleam er kaldari pallettan, með mjög fallegum bleikum og ferskju litum - aðeins meira öðruvísi! Litirnir eru allir mjúkir og góðir, vel litsterkir og gefa auðveldlega mjög sterkt highlight án þess að ýta undir svitaholur og hrjúfleika á húðinni eins og mér fannst Illuminatorarnir frá Anastasia gera. 
Hver "panna" er 0.26 oz sem er nánast full stærð, svo 40$ fyrir pallettu er ansi góður díll kæru vinir! Eftir að ég fékk þessar hefur Mary Lou varla hreyfst úr skúffunni (sorglegt en satt), þær eru bara það góðar. That Glow fýla ég aðeins betur en það er þess virði að kaupa Gleam pallettuna líka einungis fyrir Crushed Pearl litinn. Svo já, ég hef komist að þeirri niðurstöðu að Anastasia gerir ekkert rangt og er drottning heimsins.

WHAT'S GOING ON?

Hello, it's me - ok, now I'm done with cheesy lyric quotes. I'm here today to say a little hello to ya'll. It's been sooooooo long since I last did an actual blog post (not just a "here's a video, go watch it"), I've even thought about closing the blog down but I definitely don't want to do that. 
I've said this before, I love blogging and everything that goes into blogging. I love sharing things with you guys and I really appreciate every single one of you that visits this site even when it's not active (I see you). So, I've decided to get off my lazy ass and keep doing this thing. I also want to do more personal posts, lifestyle and fashion as well - although it'll mostly be beauty and make up because that's what I enjoy the most. If there's anything in particular that you want to see, feel free to leave a suggestion in the comments!
So what's up? I've been busy working, studying and all those typical things. I've been loving colorful makeup, neons and a whole lot of purple. I've been very active on snapchat so you should definitely add me on there : elinlikes. I am going to London this week and I am very looking forward to that. Oh, and Ása turned three!
So to sums things up : I'm back bitches.
PS. I haven't uploaded any videos on Youtube because I'm having computer problems (I'm working on it).
//Hello, it's me - okei djók. Ég er hérna í dag til að segja hæ! Það er orðið brjálæðislega langt síðan ég gerði almennilega bloggfærslu (þá annað en bara "hæ hér er myndband") og ég hef meira að segja verið að pæla í að loka blogginu EN ég vil alls ekki gera það.
Ég hef sagt þetta áður en ég elska að blogga og allt það sem gerist í kringum bloggið. Ég elska að deila hlutum með ykkur og kann að meta hvern einn og einasta sem kíkir á bloggið þó það sé ekki virkt (I see you). Ég hef ákveðið að hætta að vera haugur og halda áfram hérna. Ég vil líka gera meira af persónulegum færslum, lífstíls og tísku - en þetta verður þó aðallega beauty og förðunartengt þar sem ég elska það mest. Ef það er eitthvað ákveðið sem þú villt sjá þá máttu endilega skilja eftir komment!
Hvað er að frétta af mér? Ég hef verið á fullu að vinna, læra og allt þetta klassíska. Ég hef verið að elska litríkar farðanir, neon liti og helling af fjólubláu. Ég hef verið mjög virk inn á snapchat og þú ættir klárlega að adda mér þar : elinlikes. Ég er á leið til London í þessari viku og er mjög spennt fyrir því. Og já, Ása er orðin þriggja ára!
