DARK MATTER STACK

Eins og flestir með förðunaráráttu þá er ég með fáránlega langan lista fylltan af fallegum snyrtivörum sem ég segji sjálfri mér að ég þurfi. Fyrir nokkrum mánuðum ákvað ég að splæsa loksins í tvær vörur af listanum; Melt augnskugga stackana.
Melt er nokkuð nýtt fyrirtæki en förðunarfræðingarnir Dana og Lora (sem sér oft um Rihönnu) stofnuðu það og byrjuðu með nokkra matta varaliti. Síðan hafa þær hægt og rólega bætt fleiri vörum í fallegu og einstöku vörulínuna sína. Melt augnskuggarnir hafa fengið ótrúlega góðar umsagnir svo ég þurfti auðvitað að prófa.
Augnskuggarnir koma ekki í pallettu né stakir heldur koma þeir í svokölluðum "stack" (þeir eru núna líka seldir stakir, check it out!). Hver stack eru fjórir augnskuggar sem hafa segul svo þeir staflast upp eða hægt að taka þá í sundur. Efst í hverjum stack er síðan lítill spegill. Dark Matter stackinn er held ég langvinsælastur enda eru það allt hlýjir og fallegir augnskuggar sem fara úr ljósum í dökkan. Radioactive er síðan nýjasti stackinn þeirra en hann er hrikalega litríkur og hentar því vel fyrir mig þessa dagana. Hver stack kostar 48 dollara sem er ágætlega sanngjarnt þar sem hver augnskuggi er nokkuð stór. 
Allir augnskuggarnir eru mjög litsterkir og blandast vel en sumir eru þó betri en aðrir. Í Dark Matter eru allir fínir og flottir nema Enigma er mikið þurrari en hinir, þó að hann sé samt mjög góður (rauðir litir eru erfiðir). Í Radioactive eru Radon og Neon sístir en þeir standa sig samt með prýði. Í Radioactive virðast flestir hafa öööörlítið glimmer í þeim en það er bara svo þeir blandist betur, þeir eru eiginlega alveg mattir þegar þeir eru komnir á. 
Allt í allt er ég mjög ánægð með þessa augnskugga - þeir eru einstaklega fallegir, litsterkir og koma í skemmtilegum pakkningum. Ég mun allavega klárlega fjárfesta í þriðja stacknum og jafnvel bæta nokkrum varalitum við í körfuna! 

//As with most makeup junkies, I have a huge ass wishlist in my head of products I want and tell myself I need. I recently crossed two items off that list; the Dark Matter and Radioactive eyeshadow stacks from Melt Cosmetics.
Melt is a rather new company, created by makeup artists Dana and Lora (Rihanna's MUA). It all started with a few matte lipsticks but they have since then added more items to their beautiful and unique line. Melt's eyeshadows have gotten rave reviews and I, of course, had to give them my two cents.
Their eyeshadows aren't in a palette nor are they sold seperately, they come in a "stack" (you can now purchase them individually!).  A stack with four eyeshadows, that are all magnetised so they can either be stacked up or pulled a part. On top of the stack is a handy little mirror. Dark Matter is, I think, the most popular stack as it's beautiful warm shades ranging from light to dark. The Radioactive stack is their newest product and it's filled with super vibrant shades, something I've been liking these past few months. Each stack retails for $48 which I think is pretty fair as you get a nice amount of product.
The shadows are all very pigmented, blend easily and are all in all very good but some are definitely better than others. In the Dark Matter stack, all the shades are nice and smooth except for Enigma, that one seems to be a bit drier (but still pigmented and all that jazz). In the Radioactive stack the shades Radon and Neon are drier than the others but still perform very nicely. The Radioactive eyeshadows do have a tiny bit of shimmer running through them but that's simply so they blend easier, they are basically matte once blended. 
All in all I am very pleased with the shadows - such beautiful colors, unique packaging and crazy pigmentation! I definitely want to get the other eyeshadow stack and I simply MUST try the lipsticks.
