BARRY M NAIL PAINTS*

I recently got the chance to finally try the Barry M Nail Paints that I've heard so much about from British YouTubers. They are now available here in Iceland on fotia.is along with some other Barry M goodies. I've always wanted to try the Gelly Hi-Shine formula - and now I finally have. Now I am no nail polish expert and definitely don't have Pinterest-worthy nails, but I just wanted to share with you guys my thoughts on these beauties.

Starting off with the Gelly Hi-Shine formula, I got the shade Key Lime*. As you might have guessed, it's a lime green shade. I have to say, I absolutely love this formula! It's pretty thick and goes totally opaque in one coat (although I always do at least 2 coats). It dries pretty quickly and lasts really well on the nails, the longest lasting nail polish that I've come across (I've got really annoying nails and polishes usually chip within the first day). Then there is Bright Pink*, which is a part of the regular line. Bright Pink is simply a very pretty pink. It doesn't apply as opaque as the Gelly formula, but it's still looks great in just 2 coats. I didn't find that this lasted as well as the other one, but it still got through 2 days without any chipping (which is great for my nails). 

I definitely like these Barry M nail polishes and will be picking up some more (I've got my eyes on Sugar Apple, it looks pretty perfect). I do prefer the Gelly Hi-Shine formula, it's kinda amazing. Have you tried these? Do you have any favorite shades?

Ég er enginn naglalakka expert og eru neglurnar mínar ekki jafn fínar og þær sem þú sérð á Pinterest, en mig langaði að deila með ykkur mínum skoðunum á þessum dúllum.

Byrjum á Gelly Hi-Shine lakkinu, ég fékk litinn Key Lime*. Eins og þér datt kannski í hug, þá er liturinn lime grænn. Ég elska þessa formúlu! Hún er frekar þykk og liturinn þekur alveg í fyrstu stroku (ég geri þó alltaf allavega 2 umferðir). Það þornar fljótt og entist í nokkra daga án þess að það byrjaði að flagna (ég er með leiðinlegar neglur og það fer yfirleitt allt af á fyrsta degi). Næst er það liturinn Bright Pink* sem er í venjulegu línunni. Bright Pink er einfaldlega mjög fallegur bleikur. Áferðin er ekki jafn þykk og í Gelly línunni, en liturinn er samt sterkur og þekjandi eftir bara 2 umferðir. Þetta entist ekki jafn lengi og hitt, en ég náði samt 2 dögum án þess að það byrjaði að sjást á því (sem er mjög gott miðað við mínar neglur).

Ég er mjög sátt með þessi fallegu naglalökk og mun klárlega næla mér í fleiri (Sugar Apple er hæst á óskalistanum). Mér finnst Gelly formúlan vera æði. Fotia á von á nýjum vörum á næstu dögum svo endilega kíkið á síðuna þeirra og skoðið úrvalið!
