NYX ANGEL VEIL PRIMER $14

I've always been a bit iffy about primers, I do like my glowy-fying primers, MAC Strobe Cream is a necessity in my collection and I also like primers that fill in my pores so I look like a porcelain doll BUT I've never really seen a huge difference in the longevity of my foundation so when I heard a lot of people comparing the NYX Angel Veil primer to the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer (that's been on my wish list for years but is oh-so expensive) I thought I'd pick it up and see what all the fuzz is about.

It has somewhat of a silicony texture but is very light, almost like a light mousse (if you're really dry it may cling onto dry patches as it's not moisturising at all). It doesn't fill in my pores like the Benefit Porefessional does but it leaves the skin super soft and ready for foundation. I notice a big difference in the longevity of my foundation when I apply the Angel Veil underneath; it stays in place better and I can dance all night long without my foundation leaking off on to the floor (imagine if that actually happened). The Angel Veil primer is supposed to be a skin perfecting primer, so NYX doesn't actually promise long lasting results but they definitely should put it on the bottle!

I do always like to apply Strobe Cream to some parts of my face because I like a glow but I put that on top of the Angel Veil primer and I am good to go! If your foundation tends to slide around I definitely recommend giving this a try, I mean it's cheap and cheerful so if it doesn't work out you won't be left with a huge gap in your heart (and wallet).

Þegar ég heyrði marga bera Angel Veil primerinn frá NYX við Hourglass Mineral Veil primerinn (sem hefur verið á óskalistanum mínum í mörg ár en er hreinlega OF dýr) þá varð ég að prófa.

Áferðin er smá sílikon-leg en er mjög létt, smávegis eins og létt "mousse" (ef þú ert mjög þurr þá gæti hann fest smá í þurrum blettum þar sem hann er alls ekki rakagefandi). Hann fyllir ekki í svitaholurnar eins og Benefit Porefessional en hann skilur húðina eftir silkimjúka og tilbúna í farða. Ég tek eftir miklum mun á farðanum í enda dagsins þegar ég nota Angel Veil undir, ég get dansað alla nóttina án þess að meikið leki á gólfið (pælið í því ef það myndi í alvöru gerast, jiiii). Á túbunni er talað um hann sem "Skin Perfecting Primer" og ekkert minnst á að hann haldi öllu á extra vel, NYX ætti svo sannarlega að bæta því við á túbuna!

Ég nota alltaf Strobe kremið á suma parta andlitisins því ég vil ljóma í húðinni en ég nota það þá yfir Angel Veil Primerinn og er good to go! Ef farðinn þinn hverfur fljótt þá mæli ég með því að prófa þennan, hann er líka ódýr svo hann brennur ekki gat í veskið þitt ef hann gengur ekki upp.
