My most used and loved beauty products through 2013. I saw this tag going around on YouTube and I thought I would make it into a blog post. Here are my most used products of 2013! Primer - MAC Strobe Cream
A must have in my collection, gives the skin a beautiful glow. //Algjört must have í mínu safni! Gefur húðinni fallegan gljáa.

Foundation - Bourjois Healthy Mix (old formula) and Revlon Colorstay Whipped
Both great drugstore foundations, the Healthy Mix is great for everyday and gives you a beautiful dewy look, the Revlon one stays on for hours and has very good coverage. //Báðir æðislegir farðar á góðu verði. Healthy Mix er frábær fyrir hversdags, hylur vel en er fallegur og náttúrulegur á húðinni. Sá sem er frá Revlon endist á í marga klukkutíma og hylur frábærlega!

Concealer - Bare Minerals Well Rested and Graftobian HD Glamour Palette
I use my Graftobian Palette to conceal blemishes and sometimes under my eyes, very creamy and stays on well. Well Rested is a great powder concealer, but I love it for setting my concealer and brightening up under the eyes. //Ég nota Graftobian pallettuna til að fela bólur og bletti, stundum undir augun. Mjög góður og kremaður. Well Rested er æðislegur púður hyljari, ég nota hann hinsvegar aðallega yfir krem hyljara og birta til undir augunum. 

Powder - MAC Studio Fix
I use Studio Fix to set my liquid foundations if I feel I need a bit more coverage, also good for days when you don't want to wear a lot of make up. Great for girls with oily skin! //Ég nota Studio Fix púðrið yfir meikið ef ég vil meiri þekju, líka mjög gott fyrir daga þar sem ég vil ekki vera mikið máluð. Frábært fyrir stelpur með feita húð!

Bronzer - Nars Laguna and MAC Matte Bronze
Everyone knows Laguna, it's a great natural shade with a hint of shimmer. Great for both contouring and bronzing up the skin, same goes for MACs Matte Bronze. //Allir vita að Laguna er frábær náttúrulegur litur með smá glimmeri. Góður bæði í að skyggja og líka til að gefa húðinni smá lit, sama á við um MAC Matte Bronze.

Blush - Wet N Wild Heather Silk
Favorite blush of all time. A very pigmented and gorgeous matte berry pink. Goes with every look. //Minn uppáhalds kinnalitur sem ég hef prufað. Mjög pigmentaður og fallegur mattur bleikur. Fer vel með öllum lúkkum. 

Highlighter - theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer
A beautiful shimmery champagne shade. This isn't one to go for if you want a subtle highlight. //Ótrúlega fallegur glitrandi kampavíns litur (ekki með glimmeri). Ekki fyrir þá sem vilja lúmskt highlight.

Brow - Anastasia Brow Wiz Medium Ash
Best brow pencil I've used. Great shade and the pencil is so tiny that it's so easy to make your eyebrows perfect. The spoolie is also amazing! //Besti augabrúnablýantur sem ég hef notað. Liturinn er æðislegur og blýanturinn er mjór og lítill svo það er auðvelt að gera fullkomnar augabrúnir. Greiðan er líka æðisleg!

Eye Shadow Palette - Lorac Pro Palette
My most used palette for sure. I love all of the shades and I love that it has many matte shades because I tend to use them more. My Naked palettes have barely been used since I got this one.  //Uppáhalds pallettan mín. Æðislegir litir og ég elska að það eru margir mattir litir, því ég nota þá meira. Naked palletturnar mínar hafa varla verið notaðar eftir að ég fékk þessa.

Eye Liner - MAC Blacktrack Fluidline and Rimmel Scandaleyes Nude

I use my fluidline to create the perfect cat eye and to tight line,  don't have any complains. I love Rimmels Nude eyeliner for the waterline to brighten up the eyes. //Ég nota fluidline til að gera fullkomið 'cat eye' og til að tightline-a í vatnslínunni, hef engar kvartanir. Ég elska Nude eyeliner frá Rimmel til að setja í vatnslínuna og birta augun.

Mascara -  L'oreal Telescopic

Great for giving your lashes a lot of length, which I need. I like the original one and the new one just as much. //Frábær til að lengja augnhárin, sem ég þarf á að halda. Finnst nýji og gamli vera alveg jafn góðir!

Lipstick - MAC Peach Blossom and MAC Girl About Town
Peach Blossom is great for everyday, my favorite 'my lips but better' lipstick. Girl About Town I used a lot this summer, a great vibrant fuschia pink. //Peach Blossom er frábær hversdags varalitur, minn uppáhalds 'my lips but better'. Girl About Town var mikið notaður í sumar og er fallegur bjartur fjólubleikur.

MY GO-TO SMOKEY EYE | MAC CRANBERRY

FACE| Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation, Graftobian HD Glamour Creme Palette concealer, MAC Pro Sculpting Cream - Copper beech, Bare Minerals Well Rested, MAC Studio Fix Powder, Nars Laguna, theBalm Mary Lou-Manizer, Wet N Wild Heather Silk blush, Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash. EYES| Maybellnne Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk, MAC Cranberry, Lorac Pro Palette (Taupe, Espresso and Black), Wet N Wild Vanity Palette, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline, MAC Teddy Eyekohl, #747S Cherry Blossom Lashes. 

This is my go to make up look when going out, it's a smokey cranberry eye. I have gotten so many questions on how I do it, so here we go. First off I apply a base, I use Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Pomegranate Punk all over my lid. Next I push MAC Cranberry on the lid with a 239 brush. Then I take my Lorac Pro Palette and use the light brown shade (Taupe) and blend it into the crease. After that I use a darker brown shade (Espresso) and put it in the crease as well, but I focus it more on the outer corners. Then to darken things up even more I take a tiny bit of the black color and put it in the outer corners and blend it into the crease, but only a little bit. I do the same on the bottom lash line. I start with the Color Tattoo, then a bit of Cranberry and then the two brown shades. I skip the black. I use the two lightest shades from the Wet N Wild Vanity palette as a highlight under the browbone and in the inner corners. Next I apply gel eyeliner and do a winged liner. MAC Teddy on the waterline and #747S Cherry Blossom lashes. Voila! That's it. The key to a smokey eye, is to keep on blending. Keep a clean blending brush on hand and blend everything after every step. I hope that answers some of your questions x

//Hér er mitt uppáhalds smokey eye. Hef fengið svo margar spurningar um það, svo here we go! Fyrst nota ég Maybelline Color Tattoo í litnum Pomegranate Punk sem grunn fyrir allt hitt. Næst nota ég litinn Cranberry frá MAC yfir allt augnlokið með 239 bursta. Eftir það tek ég Lorac Pro Palettuna mína og tek ljósbrúna litinn (Taupe) og blanda í glóbuslínuna. Næst tek ég dekkri brúnan úr palettunni (Espresso) og set á sama stað, nema fer ekki jafn hátt upp með litinn. Svo bæti ég við smá svörtu, en nota hann aðallega alveg yst. Undir augun nota ég svo sömu litina en ekki svarta. Ég set tvo ljósu litina úr Wet N Wild Vanity pallettunni undir augabrúnirnar og í innra augnkrókinn til að birta til. Síðan tek ég MAC Blacktrack gel eyelinerinn og geri eyeliner með "flick". Á vatnslínuna nota ég MAC Teddy. Augnhárin sem ég notaði eru #747S frá Cherry Blossom. Þá er það komið! Ekki svo flókið. Galdurinn á bakvið fallegt smokey eye er einfaldlega að blanda og blanda. Að hafa hreinan blöndunarbursta (t.d. MAC 217) við höndina og blanda vel eftir hvert stef. Hey guys! I'm back today with a simple FOTD post.

Anywho.. I wore this look on Saturday and I really like it. Simple with a purple twist. I bought this eyeliner a week ago and I've already worn this twice, it's stunning! The pictures really don't do it justice, you'll just have to go to MAC and have a look! It's called Designer Purple and it's from the Archie's Girls line.

MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER | REVIEW

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I did, because I went shopping! I went into MAC and spent a lot of money that I shouldn't have spent, but hey, sometimes you need to go a little crazy. One of the things I picked up was the MAC Studio Fix Powder. I've always known that it was a good coverage powder foundation but I've never really been a powder-girl, so I never bought it. But in my crazy shopping spree mood, I decided to finally add it to my collection. I got it in the shade C3.5 and it matches me pretty perfectly. I like to use my ELF Powder brush (which is amazing if you haven't tried it + super affordable) to buff it into the skin and it looks really nice. It has a very nice coverage and it stays on for hours! I feel powders can leave the skin a little flat and boring (I like dewy foundations) so I used my trusty MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle to bring some light back into my face and MAC Harmony blush to contour a tiny bit.

Overall, it's a very nice powder and I recommend picking it up if you are looking for a good, quick and easy foundation.
