REVIEW | ANASTASIA DIPBROW POMADE

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT : DIPBROW POMADE IN SOFT BROWN, CHOCOLATE.

DIPBROW POMADE IN CHOCOLATE (+ ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS CLEAR BROW GEL)

Yes you guys, I finally got it - the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade. This thing has been on my wish list ever since it first came out but as I would have had to buy it online I wasn't quite sure which shade to pick up. In Florida I finally got to see the jar of magic in person and picked up two shades, sadly they are still not the perfect match but I can definitely make one of them work.

If you aren't familiar with Dipbrow it's almost like a gel liner for your eyebrows. It's best applied with a very thin angled brush (I use my MAC 263 and it works beautifully) and you only need the tiniest bit of product. I barely dip my brush into the product and then take off the excess on the sides of the pot - I'm not kidding, you seriously need the tiniest bit. A lot of people say that there's a learning curve with Dipbrow but I found it easy to work with from the beginning, maybe because I already knew that there should barely be anything on the brush or maybe I am just destined to work with the Pomade.. who knows?

Anywho, I picked up the shades Soft Brown and Chocolate, both way darker than my hair colour but hey, I'm a rebel (not really, I just like a darker brow). A lovely lady at Sephora tried Soft Brown on me and it looked great but when I tried it at home it was just a tad bit too warm so I have been using Chocolate and I love it (I have it on here and here). Is it very dark? Yes, yes it is but as I've said like a billion times already, I only use a tiny little bit and am very careful with it. Even though I love the look of Chocolate I think I'll pick up either Blonde or Taupe very soon, just to try it out. This thing stays on your brows all day long without any smudging or fading, it really is brilliant.

Have you tried Dipbrow? Do you like it?

HAIR TALK

It's been 4 years since I've done anything to my hair, I haven't even gotten a little trim (hair stylist, try not to cringe). It has made my very difficult hair behave a lot nicer, my very fine hair can finally stay straight for more then 5 minutes, my unruly curls have tamed down and are now unruly waves. Even though it's easier to handle, I am getting very tired of the way it looks, it lays flat on my head and my natural hair color, which is in no means the worst (you can see it well here), doesn't excite me. Here are some cuts and colors that have made it on to either my Pinterest boards or my Tumblr

I love Kim's new hair!

Neautrogena Healthy Skin foundation, Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer, MAC Studio Fix Powder - C3,5, Tarte Amazonian clay blush - Exposed, Body Shop Honey Bronzer - Medium Matte, MAC MSF Soft and Gentle, MAC Eyebrow Pencil - Lingering, MAC e/s Charcoal brown, MAC Paintpot - Painterly, MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liner - Designer Purple, Loreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara, MAC - Shy Girl.

Hey guys! I'm back today with a simple FOTD post.
Firstly, Google is closing down their reader (or so I've read), so I wanted to ask you all to please follow me on Bloglovin (here) if you aren't already! Also, all my links are in the side bar if you are interested xx

Anywho.. I wore this look on Saturday and I really like it. Simple with a purple twist. I bought this eyeliner a week ago and I've already worn this twice, it's stunning! The pictures really don't do it justice, you'll just have to go to MAC and have a look! It's called Designer Purple and it's from the Archie's Girls line.
Hope you like it!

A FEW NEW THINGS

I went shopping last weekend (like most people do this time of the year) . I was hoping to come back home with 10 full bags of nice clothes, shoes and make up that I got for a great price, sadly that didn't happen. I found a camo Jumper in Topshop at a reasonable price and when I got frustrated that I hadn't found anything else, I went into MAC and bought a few nice things, using my Pro card for the very first time! I finally purchased the Brush Cleanser, an eye kohl in Teddy and Lingering eye brow pencil. I've tried it all out and I like it so far. I'll do a FOTD soon, using the eye kohl and brow pencil. Before going home we stopped by the drugstore and I decided to try the John Frieda Go Blonder lightening spray, I've used it 3 times this far and I do think I see a difference! I will do a review about this after using it for a longer time.

A few days later I got a package in the mail, I had totally forgotten that I had ordered these so it was a nice Thursday surprise! I got the Real Techniques Core Collection, I've been wanting these brushes for a while now and I finally decided to get them. I already have the Blush Brush, Stippling Brush and Starter set, so this was a great new addition to my Real Techniques collection! I absolutely love these brushes, super soft and gorgeous. I'm planning on doing a brush collection post soon so stay tuned!

Lastly, I went to a local shop yesterday and I found these super cheap spiked loafers. I need more shoes, so why not? They are cute and comfy and go with a lot of things.

I'm currently waiting for 3 Asos orders so chances are you will be seeing an Asos haul on here very soon!

Have you bought anything on this years first sale?

xoxo Elín
